FAQ
What is a private jeweler?
A good private, or personal, jeweler can offer expert advice as well as a level of one-on-one services that isn’t usually achieved by even high-end retailers. Like a retailer, a private jeweler typically works with third-party gem dealers and jewelry artisans to fabricate their own jewelry.
Do you offer jewelry appraisals?
Yes! Our founder, Anne Glackin, is a Certified Jewelry Appraiser and GIA Graduate Gemologist; she can provide you with an insurance appraisal for an extra fee.
How fast are orders processed?
Depending on the level of design complexity, custom jewelry can take anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks to manufacture. All Annie James Collection pieces are made to order and will usually take 3 to 4 weeks to ship.
Where do you get your diamonds and colored stones?
We have access to the same quality stones, many from the same dealers, as high-end jewelry houses such as Harry Winston, Cartier and Tiffany & Co.
Are your diamonds conflict-free?
Yes! We only work with diamond dealers who source conflict-free diamonds and abide by the Kimberly Process.
Where is your jewelry manufactured?
All of our pieces are produced in NYC. We use many of the same manufacturers and master jewelers as the top luxury brands use for their high-end designs.
