Anne Mock is a New York City-based gemologist and fine jewelry designer with a passion for combining her love of design with awareness for thyroid cancer - she is a survivor.
Born and raised by the water in Massachusetts, Anne’s infatuation for gemstones began at a young age. Her mother continues to joke that she began her career as a two-year-old jewel thief trying to pick diamonds out of her friends’ engagement rings. Her interest in the industry quickly grew from obtaining her Graduate Gemologist Certification (GG) and working at Harry Winston as a jewelry specialist in Quality Control, to becoming a member of the Appraisers Association of America and completing classes at the New York Jewelry Design Institute. All of which have led up to the launch of her own Annie James Collection, which takes on a simplistic and classic design approach, providing versatile pieces that can be worn all day regardless of the activity. She also designs and produces custom pieces such as engagement rings and bridal jewelry.
In her spare time, Anne serves as the Treasurer for CancerCare’s Young Professionals Committee, which aims to raise funds and awareness for the organization.
